Thomas Drury’s Visit to Cambodia and Laos
On Sunday 23rd July Thomas flies to Vietiane, Laos via Bangkok along with other pupils from his school. He will travel to just outside Phou Hin Poun National Protected Area and spend 4 days on a trek through the forests.
Then he will travel south to Savannakhet and spend 5 days helping with project work in Tansoum. Tasks will include basic building and maintenance and informal English teaching. There will also be the opportunity to visit the crocodile conservation centre.
After, he will travel to Siem Reap in Cambodia where he will visit Angkor Wat temple and explore the floating and stilted lakeside villages. Finally he will visit the Royal Palace and other sights at Phnom Penh. returning home on Saturday 12th August.
