One of our young people at St John’s, in her first year as a student at the University of Gloucestershire, has recently signed up with ‘Choose A Challenge’ to walk the arduous Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu in Peru in late August – early September this year in order to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Chloe needs to raise £2,990.00 for the trip by 1st July, and currently has £190 in donations. This will definitely be a challenge for Chloe as she has always hated long (particularly hilly) walks, and other aspects of the challenge such as the climate, the lack of Wi-Fi etc, will also take her way out of her comfort zone.
