An amazing £273.98 was raised by the Tearfund lunch for the “No Child Taken” Tearfund campaign, which took place at St John’s recently.
The meal consisted of various home-made soups, bread rolls and cheese. A 13 year old girl in the film shown during the morning service is now in secondary school, and another girl has started a business selling “sticky sticks”.
