Instead of giving up something this year why not do something positive that will bless other people:- “Do Lent Generously” with 40 Acts. Go online and sign up to “40 Acts” and you will receive a suggested act of kindness each day to your email address on your pc, tablet or smart phone.
Examples of last year’s “acts of kindness” are: Give someone a bunch of flowers for no reason! Send a thank you card to someone. Stop Twittering and talk to someone face to face. Offer to babysit. Ring somebody who would appreciate knowing you’re thinking about them etc.
