New Church Hall Roof completed

The replacement of the Church Hall roof is now complete, and last Sunday, 2nd November, we had a Gift Day when St John's members were invited to make a donation of their choice towards the cost, which was £22,000. The amount donated so far is around £6,500 and amazingly there is still more to come!

Christmas 2014 School Visits

This year we are delighted to be welcoming children from Norbridge and Redlands schools in Worksop to our church on Wednesday 10th, Thursday 11th & Friday 12th December. The plan is to involve them in art & craft and convey to them the real meaning of Christmas using drama and props (see pictures above).

A Successful Sunday – 21 September 2014

A total of £188 was raised at the Tearfund Lunch - thanks to all who supported this event. A very impressive £212 worth of goods were also sold at the Fairtrade stall at the back of church immediately after the morning service. Again, many thanks to all who supported it.
