Thank you to all who helped and supported this event on 17th November - an amazing 24,000 people attended quizzes across the country. Our church raised £240, which will enable 4 Syrian refugee children in a camp to have care, schooling and trauma counselling.

The Traidcraft stall held after the Harvest service on 7th October made £281.86. Very many thanks to those who supported it.  There are still some Christmas cards and Real advent calendars for sale after church on Sunday mornings.

Next year marks the 150th Anniversary of St John's. To celebrate this the intention is to hold various events  throughout the year. A working group is being set up, who will approach other members of the church for ideas and suggestions for events.  

St John's Church have recently been liaising with River Network Church, Matlock. Pastored by Terry & Jill Eckersley, they are very much into revival in the UK, and have a powerful & exciting ministry.
